SQEYS’s practice is centered on the fable as a generative form, allowing fiction to operate as a way of thinking rather than a narrative end. Moving across video, painting, and installation, each project unfolds through self‑contained bodies of work shaped by the pressures and contradictions of contemporary life. Operating between Japan and Europe, SQEYS has exhibited in both institutional and independent contexts. One of their video works is included in the Alfredo Hertzog Video Art Collection (Brazil), among other collections.
